THERAPY STYLE

OCD

OCD is highly treatable, but it requires specialized care. General talk therapy or “regular old CBT” often makes OCD worse, not better. Intrusive thoughts, compulsions, shame, avoidance, and the invisible mental rituals that steal hours of your day demand an approach grounded in true OCD expertise. I use IFS and Somatic Experiencing to help clients understand the parts of them that panic, protect, or spiral into fear—so they can finally stop fighting their own minds and start feeling regulated, empowered, and in control.

Trauma

Trauma healing also requires a level of precision and safety that not every therapist is trained in. Trauma isn’t just a story—it lives in the body and nervous system. As a trauma specialist, I help clients work gently and effectively with the parts of themselves that are overwhelmed, shut down, or stuck in old survival patterns. Using IFS and Somatic Experiencing, we create a path toward healing that doesn’t retraumatize you and doesn’t require re-explaining your pain week after week. Instead, we focus on helping your system feel safe enough to release what it’s been holding.

Financial Therapy

Financial stress, scarcity, and shame affect everyone—but very few therapists know how to treat them. Money touches every part of our lives, and financial trauma requires a different kind of expertise. It can show up as anxiety, avoidance, overspending, underspending, chronic fear, or the belief that no amount is ever “enough.” As a financial therapy specialist, I help clients understand their money stories, soothe the nervous system’s response to financial stress, and build healthier, more grounded patterns. This isn’t budgeting advice—it’s deep therapeutic work on one of the most universal sources of human fear and security.

Whether your mind feels hijacked by intrusive thoughts, your body still carries the imprint of old trauma, or your relationship with money feels confusing, overwhelming, or shame-filled, you deserve care that actually fits the shape of your struggle. My work isn’t about coping harder or — it’s about helping you understand what’s happening inside you, why it makes sense, and how to move toward relief that lasts. Together, we’ll build a clear, compassionate path forward so you can feel more choice, more safety, and more of yourself in your everyday life.
