A Little About Me

It’s time to give yourself a break and really focus on you! The world is changing so fast around us; it seems we never have a moment to breathe. I’m here to help you carve out time for you. We have the power to make choices that can make us happy and live fulfilling lives. My goal is to help you on your journey.

I received my Master’s Degree from New York University Silver School of Social Work where I focused on integrative behavioral health care specifically with adolescents and families. I currently work with adolescents and families who have experienced trauma. I also have experience working with children, adolescents, and families struggling with anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and PTSD using a variety of modalities such as, dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness practice.

I believe using a strengths-based, holistic perspective yields the most comprehensive approach to treatment as every person has their own unique experiences. Taking the time to navigate the past and present can help us have a clearer lens to see what we need for the future. I will provide a supportive, comfortable, and safe space for you to explore your needs. After all, our time together is all about you.

My husband and I were asking [our son] about therapy and he said he really enjoys talking to [Chelsea] about things he has going on. We asked because we both noticed he has been a lot more positive and less down on him self the last couple of months. We both notice a very positive change in him. I am glad therapy is helping him.

We were voted Favorite Kids’ Docs 2015! A BIG thank you to our clients who nominated us.
